I’ve been fortunate enough over the years to not only have my work published, but to have some of my efforts in the industry featured in the media.

USA Today and the Philadelphia Inquirer featured articles in a series about Temple University students starting their own businesses as an alternative to job hunting in this tough economy. I am fortunate enough to be among the alumni interviewed for my work at NEast Philly.

From The Philadelphia Inquirer:

In September 2009, I had the honor of being a CityPaper Choice Award winner for my work involving a ride-along with an officer of the Philadelphia Police Department.

In Spring 2010, I was awarded first place in the Society of Professional Journalists’ Mark of Excellence Awards for Region 1. This award is again the result of my work following a ride-along with a Philadelphia police officer during my final semester at Temple University.
